		<description>Very useful information. However, I prefer battery backups to power strips. That should work the same way as a strip. Just have to find a way to monitor the charge of your battery backup before unplugging completely.</description>

		<description>That's great information Eric.  One thing to keep in mind is that it's still important to shutdown your computer properly before you flip the switch on the powerstrip.  If you don't shutdown the computer properly you risk losing whatever you were working on or worse corrupting a system file that will render your computer unbootable.</description>
